Idaho Statute allows local land use planners to enter into agreements with builders and developers that include terms not otherwise required through existing regulations.  

The Housing Solutions Partnership, NIBCA, Professional Women in Building Coeur d’Alene and the Association for Idaho Cities sponsored a workshop in October 2024 (see video below) to explore how development agreements can increase affordable housing for workers in North Idaho.
