Through public-private partnerships, developers can partner with local jurisdictions to provide infrastructure improvements at a lower cost and in a more timely manner in order to fast-track developments that provide housing for local workers. 

Partnerships could also include agreements to waive, defer or reduce certain impact or permit fees to aid in the upfront costs of building, or grant special uses that allow for easements, density, land swaps or land use that is advantageous to a municipality if there is a local worker housing component involved.
